On March 5, TMZ.com reported that Steeler’s quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, was accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old student. According to Google Timeline, HarveyLevinTMZ was the first to report the accusation and tweeted “Ben Roethlisberger Accused of Sexual Assault http://bit.ly/aSrC1X” at 2:19 PM on Mar 5th, which AdamHammond1 promptly retweeted at 2:33 PM.

Playing against the Houston Astros, a team that was 1-8 coming into the series, developed into a disappointing loss for the Cubs. After managing to stay ahead 2-0 until the top of the eighth, the Cubs lost their advantage.

Chicago Bulls surprisingly make playoffs, after a big win against the Toronto Raptors. After making playoffs, the Bulls learned they, seeded number eight, would play number one, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After a good start yesterday, fielding errors and poor batting resulted in another disappointing loss for Cubs fans across the nation. The Cubs grabbed the lead in the fifth after Derrek Lee’s RBI, but Alfonso Soriano’s dropped ball in left field combined with Miguel Cairo’s bouncing one-hopper hitting Sean Marshall’s foot, allowed the Reds to tie the game. A sacrifice fly by Jonny Gomes in the eighth let Brandon Phillips score the winning run. Red’s pitcher Mike Leake’s allowed one run on four hits in 6 2/3 innings at his debut. The Reds won the series, but fans remained hopeful as dbartelsen tweeted, “I hope the cubs can win their home opener today and turn their season around!”
