Sarah Palin and the Discovery Channel are two names that most people wouldn’t consider a likely pair, given some of Palin’s politics. Yet, on March 26, the Discovery Channel’s parent company, Discovery Communications, announced they were partnering with Palin for a show that will, according to Discovery Communication’s website, “reveal Alaska’s powerful beauty as it has never been filmed.” Discovery Communications is the parent company of The Animal Planet, Planet Green, The Science channel and Treehugger.com.
