MTV broadcasted it’s 2010 Movie Awards. As the red carpet rolled out teens and pop-culture fans from around the world began tuning into to see the pomp, trend, and which artists would be receiving the “Golden Popcorn.”

The allure of fashion was complimented by Sway, Snooki and the “fierce” spikey-haired Christian Siriano who won a fashion design contest on Season 4 of Bravo’s reality show Project Runway. The show has since moved to the Lifetime TV channel. The pre-amble to the red carpet walk was a cross-promotional stunt where Snooki, a star from a an MTV reality show called Jersey Shore, had an MTV-hosted challenge where viewers would decide what dress she would wear for the awards. She then worked the Red Carpet as a correspondent.

Snooki (Nicole Polizzi), who I must confess to having never heard mentioned before, made the claim that she will be hottest on the walk. It is unclear if this was meant seriously, sarcastically, or if sheer bravado may be what it takes for a start to rise above the din these days.
