Friday actor Gary Coleman dies at the age of 42. CNN announced on Friday that the actor died of a brain stroke.

Coleman who lived in Utah was taken to a hospital in Santaquin, Utah after he injured his head on Wednesday. Later Wednesday night he was taken to another hospital where he was listed in critical condition. Thursday Coleman’s condition worsened and he was placed on life support. Friday his wife Shannon Price decided to take Coleman off life support.

Singer and actor Janet Jackson who worked with Gary Coleman released a statement on Under.com saying,

“I want to remember him as the fun, playful, adorable and affectionate man he was. He has left a lasting legacy. I know he is finally at peace.”
