Dead Weather Play Secret Free Chicago Concert

The Dead Weather, one of Jack White’s current bands played a secret show on Saturday, May 22, in Chicago.  The details of the free concert’s location and time were announced only a few hours prior to the event’s start.  Held in the Marquardt Trucking Company warehouse in Chicago’s West Loop, the show was sponsored by the Microsoft KIN, a social media-centric mobile phone.

In a nod to social media, the show’s location and instructions for getting in where posted to the band’s Facebook page, and quickly spread on Twitter:
