Rima Fakih, 24 won the title as Miss USA on Sunday, making her the first Arab Miss USA. The news instantly broke on various news outlets and social media sites making this news the most popular of them all.

However before anyone could celebrate Fakih’s great achievement as we soon discovered she was a former stripper.  Sounds like there might be a trend with the beauty contestants of the Miss Universe Organization.

The new Miss USA is a former stripper should not be a surprise to anyone especially if we look at past title holders of the Miss Universe organization, the former Miss USA Tara Connor and former Miss LasVegas Katie Reese. E Channel broke the news on Monday as they tweeted on Twitter.

Despite the sleazy and ridiculous controversy surrounding the newly crowned Miss USA Rima Fakih she does have support from fellow Arabs and Muslims as the USA Today reported on Monday. LasVegas times reported that stripper stint was a radio-sponsored fitness contest and the video was an all-girl fitness stripper class at Detroit radio station.
