The season 6 finale of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” left viewers with a whole summer to wonder which Wisteria Lane kid was switched at birth.

Many believe the child must be Mike Delfino’s son M.J.

M.J. appears like the obvious choice with the return of Paul Young (Mark Moses) at the end of Sunday’s (May 16) finale. Paul has a motive. He most likely blames Mike Delfino (James Denton) for the loss of his son Zach, who disappeared with his dead grandfather’s money not long after he found out that Mike was his biological dad and that Paul had stolen him when he was a baby.

Switching Mike’s baby boy, M.J., at birth seems like a fairly great way of seeking revenge? Although, if that were to be the case, Paul would be robbing Mike of two sons, which would be a bit extreme, but things in Fairview never seem to surpass extremes.

So, what do you think? Is M.J. the kid who was swapped at the hospital? Or is that too obvious? Could it be one of Gaby’s little girls? Any of Lynette’s kids? Maybe Danielle’s little Ben whom Bree pretended to carry?

    Sam was older than Andrew... Rex had Sam before he married Bree and since Andrew is Brees it is impossible for Sam to be switched with Andrew,, It has to be MJ they would put it as two kids you know... and u don't know any other kids who are Gabby's kids age or Lynettes kids age.. unless it was Julie and Danielle, Or Zac and Andrew it would be one of the new kids and MJ has the perfect story...

    it wouldn't any of lynettes boys because lynette would have had them before she moved to wisteria lane.. and all three boys have orange hair,, and eddie has black hair,, and eddie was older than parker and he is the only boy it could be as parker and porter are identical twins... so unless it's penny Lynette is off,,, i think it is MJ i think he was Switched with PAge Dash they have already set that up perfectly... Page Dash and MJ were born at the same hospital at the same time,,, it made a point if telling you that at the start of season five.. plus MJ looks a lot like Dave Dash.. plus it would be a great irony since Susan was in the car accident that killed Paige Dash... i wouldn't say susan killed her because the stop sign had fallen down and The dash's were supposed to give way so,.. MJ and Paige Dash

    I'm still laughing today b/c when they revealed last night that the switched baby may have been Juanita, I thought back to all the posts from the summer about DH that "guaranteed" that the switched babies were MJ & that Dash kid or MJ & the deaf grandson. I still can't believe that people actually thought that a boy & a girl could be switched & no one noticed!

    I don't understand why people think that it is MJ??? There was a drama with him in season 5. It was a big one at that!! But i don't think it could be one of the older kids because i swear i heard it say the child was switched a few years ago. But i could have been wrong. In my opinion, i think that it's one of Gabby's kids. There hasn't been a storyline with them in yet, so maybe they might want to do that. They may be mexican but there could've been more than one mexican person giving birth that day.
    Plus at the end the doctor says he knows one of the people that had their child switched. He only knew one family! So there's no possiblity of a switch between people like karl and susan!
    I just wanted to get my opinion across. :)

    but i was watchin the older episodes and gabby and carlos had a maid and they had agreed 2 get the maid pregnant so when she had the baby it was black and the doctors said something was switched im not sure though!!!

    I think that MJ was swapped with Ethan, Carl Meier's son. Remember? Susan and the new wife of Carl were pregnant at the same time (they're doing gym classes for pregnant woman together), their child were also in the same class and they had the same name: Meier, so it could be them! I don't think that Paul swapped the babies because the nurse said that it was her mistake!I can't wait to see!!!!

    I got a feeling its Julie, Susan Mayer's dauther, she over 20. ^^. and the nurse says something about 20 years ago. And if you look closely, she dosent look like Karl or Susan at all. She's smart, Susan is a Clown. :P It must be Julie, Or it could be Andrew ofcause. ^^

    You have to think how old this woman was ....she was a dying OLD woman, surely she hadnt worked in the last 5-10 maybe 20yrs!! MJ is the obvious choice but I think its someone much older ......could be Danielle, Andrew or even Julie...........or we could go older again and they could actually be referring Mrs McClusky as the mother, could she actually be the mother of one of our Wisteria Lane Ladies, or Husbands even????

    Well Rex fathered two sons - Sam Van De Kamp and Andrew Van De Kamp - they're around the same age. It's possible that they were switched at birth. The twist would be that Andrew would be sent to jail, when Bree doesn't really have to, meanwhile Sam could be the real son, therefore Bree could try and gain her business back. I don't think that it's MJ, because the whole David Storyline holds now relevance now.

    Ok the Child that isnt theres is Lynette Scavos. I read that It is one of Lynettes. Now i no that it seems completly ridculus cause everyone thinks that it is MJ but it isnt But i think that it is Parker he looks nothing like Tom and Lynette.

    I honestly dont think its going to be Andrew, i mean he looks alot like rex. I dont think it will be M.J. Either, or atleast i hope it isnt because we already had the susan drama from season 5s finaly. Enough with that shit. Both of Gabbys daughters are mexican so i dont think theyd be it either. I have a good feeling its one of lynetts kids, or its julie. Not the twins, but maby porter, or that penny girl.

    Nah that can't be right as the only people Eddie is same age with is Porter and Preston and of course you would know and since Porter and Preston are identical they would know, and Eddie is much older than Parker so he couldn't have been switched with him.

    I'm narrowing it down, its not Lynette's twins (Preston/Porter) nor Penelope.I Don't think its Sam because he wasn't born at that hospital. Its not Angies son. Not Katherine because her real daugther is dead. Its not Mary Alice because the Dr. said 'How do we tell a mother the child they love isn't theirs' And Mary Alice is dead. Its could be Julie because she has red hair, while both parents have brown, I doubt its Kayla. I think its Juantina or her sister, to get her off the show of something maybe Demi Lavato needs her on Sonny with a chance. (They are sisters)

    Because if Eddie's mom is dead they can't tell her...
    I doubt it would be with one of Lynette's twins...
    On the other hand, MJ and Evan Mayer seems a very possible situation, and it would make a great storyline.

    I agree, cl... I don't think Susan and Mike knew what they were having. The nurse could have been very sneaky and swiched them out, before anyone noticed.

    I think that the babies that were switched are Sam and Andrew! It would be a huge twist because now Bree hates Sam and thats what would make it interesting! And leaked spoilers did say one of the wives would lose a child. Thats my theory!

    It's MJ and Karl's son, aaron, from this second marriage with that professor who left him and Karl was raising the son alone. Evan Mayer was in the same class as MJ......It wasn't the Dash girl, she looked just like Dave. Since the nurse was at the hospital for 30 something years, she was there when Karl and Susan had Julie and switched the babies thinking they were still married or something on that line.

    what if the dash guys wife didnt know but she was pregnant with twins and wen she gave birth to the twins they wer rushed of with 'complications' meanwhile susans kid was born and also rushed of, the nurse then slips up and accidently kills susans kid by dropping it on its head and not wanting to risk her job or sumin then she takes one of the twins and gives it too susan and tells the dash guys wife onli one child survived.
    all though it dusnt really fit in with the flashbacks from season five and probaly the nurses job its still a good idea

    It's pretty sure it's MJ and the hospital is gonna pay Mike and Susan so they can come back in Wisteria line. I think MJ is Dave' s son because MJ and Dave's daughter were born at the same day. Mike killed Dave's daughter in a car accident and then Dave tried to kill MJ, his own son. And if I’m not mistaken Susan and Mike never knew what they were having until the baby came out.

    The obvious choice would be M.J. My theory is that if it is M.J., then the "other" baby could possibly be Dave's little girl, who was killed in the accident that Susan and Mike had. It seems that somewhere in the story line, it mentioned that Susan and Dave's wife had a child at the same time and in the same hospital. My other theory is that it's Penny (Lynette and Tom's daughter). But, really, who knows... can't wait until next season!

    I agree that it is MJ but I think that the other child will be Roy's deaf grandson whom we saw for a moment in teh struggle for MJ's toy dinosaur. It has that added drama of Susan and Mike dealing with a disabled child.

    ..that is true.. but do you really think that they would just switch the children back? i mean.. if you've taken care for a kid and you think it's yours and you love it... you can't switch it xD it's not that easy.. so mike and susan won't be taking care of the disabled child.. :S
