News buzzing around the Metra suicide, many flirt with the idea of a possible cop-out from Philip Pagano, age 60, of Crystal Lake, Illinois.
Pagano was the executive director of Metra. Early Friday morning he walked in front of a Metra commuter rail train, just hours before he was about to be fired from Metra. Pagano was being investigated after he reportedly gave himself a $56,000 raise.
This all sounds to familiar in the state of Illinois, many politicians, executives and influential Illinoisans are coming under fire as they are finally being ousted for abusing their power. Does the suicide of Chris Kelly pop up?
If you guess Blago (former IL Gov.Rod Blagojevich turned reality star) then you know the pattern of scandal running through Illinois.
Is it deplorable? Or are they just “playing to play”? Apparently scandal in Illinois is becoming very trendy as @ChicagoILrss tweets.

Scandal, ironic, or bullied, the Chicago Sun-times reports the Metra suicide as intentional. Pagano was found with a suicide note in his pocket and the conductor of the train that Pagano walked in front of says he made eye contact with him just moments before he was killed.
Pagano was also being investigated by Calvin L. Scovel III, inspector general of the U.S. Transportation Department for misused funds as well as misconduct.
